Well, it was the fuel pump. A rare fuel pump. Do you know what the word rare means, in connection to anything costing money?
It means it’s more expensive! *sigh*
Tomorrow we can pick up the van, with its new yet rare fuel pump!
So, if God can get us to just the right spot to “break down”, can He not also provide for the broken part to be fixed?!
I think He can! To be honest, to me, financial provision pales in comparison to all He did to get us to that “just right spot” for a breakdown!
God is good and what He does is good–ALL of the time! (Whether we see it or not! After all, at least the part wasn’t so rare that it isn’t made anymore!!!! 
)
What is going on in your life, that viewed through the “normal” lens, doesn’t seem so good–yet seen through the “Goodness of God” lens, you can see Him in or through it?

My cousin’s husband has a brian tumor. An inoperable brain tumor. He is in his mid-40s and they have children at home.
My cousin sent out an email recently to all of us on the prayer chain saying that she is so grateful. They have been able to spend so much time as a family and really reconnect with each other and with God. They lost their house to foreclosure last year and her sister died at about the same time. It’s been a rough year to say the least. He dad had died about 6 months earlier.
She ended her email with “God is good. ALL THE TIME.”
It made me wonder why I’m complaining about messes and commitments and cranky (healthy) kids!

Wow, Lea! Yes, I think what I’m dealing with is very insignificant compared to your cousin! I will keep her in my prayers. How beautiful, though, to see that she looks through those “God is Good” lenses!
